If you give it a little patience, it will reward you with some amazing photographs. NOTE: if you think you can instantly be creative just because you have this lens, you are wrong. Look for vibrant colors. Experiment with the aperture discs, and maybe get the creative aperture kit (star and heart background blur = dreamy!)

If you can get through the first couple of weeks of practice you can produce some very unique shots. I use this for portraits and landscapes and love it when people ask "how??".
I am a Photoshop monkey, but this lens creates blur that you just can't duplicate. I love it on my D700 and my D70.
